Here are the questions we’re most often asked by fellow BBQ legends.
The blanket measures 54cm (L) × 40cm (W) × 20cm (H), with approximately 40 litres of capacity.
That’s plenty of room for a brisket weighing up to 9kg—or a similar-sized cut of meat.
When used with a 6–8kg brisket, you can typically expect the blanket to keep the meat above 65°C for more than five hours.
Results may vary depending on:
- The size and type of meat
- Its internal temperature when placed inside the blanket
- How often the blanket is opened
For the best results, place your cooked meat inside immediately after cooking, close the zipper and use a wireless meat thermometer to monitor its internal temperature.
Cleaning is quick and easy. After each use:
- Wipe the inside and outside with a damp cloth.
- Leave the blanket open to air-dry.
- Make sure it is completely dry before storing.
The non-porous reflective inner lining helps contain juices. The zipper is intentionally not watertight, allowing excess steam to escape.
For best results, we recommend resting meat in a tray or wrapping in butchers paper/foil before placing it inside the blanket.
